After a 51-year career as an investment professional, Charles is retired from Pointe Capital Management. While maintaining his passion for the capital markets, he will also make time for community leadership roles, an active social calendar and five grandchildren.
Charles co-founded Pointe Capital Management in 2010 after a distinguished 36-year career working with top Wall St. firms, including The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. Serving some of the country’s most discerning and sophisticated investors, Charles developed a deep and thorough understanding of U.S. and Global capital markets. These experiences inspired Charles’ vision for Pointe Capital’s unique, investment-led approach to client-centered wealth management.
Charles is an adventurer at heart with experiences that have included a 29-year career as a Naval Aviator and Commander, and a 23-day, 7,250 mile cross-country motorcycle tour with sons Jeff and Paul.
It was that same adventurous spirit that led Charles to leave Wall Street. Determined to apply his considerable know-how to helping individuals and families, Charles chose to operate Pointe Capital as a Registered Investment Advisor – ensuring client interests will always come first. Always.
In addition to an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Chuck holds a B.S. from Michigan State University.
